Dr Riaz Khan

Dr Riaz Khan graduated from the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine in 1994 and has since followed his interest in paediatrics with having worked at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital where he was inspired by one of the legends of Paediatric Pulmonology, the late Prof Max Klein. He completed his Paediatric training at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and thereafter he started his 2 year fellowship in Paediatric Pulmonology under the guidance of Dr Charl Verwey, which he completed in 2014. He also attended the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital under the guidance of Dr Debbie White and Dr Sue Klugman.
